The Nurtured Heart Approach - Flyer and Registration Information
Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Open to all CMCS parents, teachers, staff, community members, daycare providers as well as the public at large. No charge for CM participants - All others $15 per person/teacher/family.
A philosophy and strategy that has been shown to be applicable across many disciplines: psychologists, social workers, counselor, other treatment professionals, educators, and parents alike, as well as greatly successful for with almost any symptoms related to behavior: opposition, defiance, ADHD, ADD, anxiety, depression, and children on the Autism Spectrum.
And maybe the best news of all: because this approach was designed for the toughest kids it works like a charm with the average child!
SAT Prep Class - For students preparing to take the May 5 or June 2, 2018 exams. Open to students of any school district. Information and registration here.
5 Hour Pre-license Class is for new drivers preparing to take the NYS road test. This class is required in order to register for a road test UNLESS THE DRIVER HAS COMPLETED DRIVER EDUCATION. MV-278 issues upon completion.

Community Education is for Everyone!
Caledonia-Mumford Central School's Community Education Program is available to learners of all ages.
Classes in a variety of interest areas are offered throughout the school year and over the summer.
Our programs are also advertised in the Livingston County News, Genesee Valley Pennysaver and on our school website

We hope you'll participate in a Community Education class soon.
We are also looking for talented people to join our growing list of class instructors.

The following are ongoing classes and activities in our Community Education program.
5 Hour Prelicensing Class (fall and winter/spring)
This is class is required to take the NYS road test.
The next class is scheduled for Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 8 a.m. in the Middle School Room 133. $35 per person.

The class is held in Middle School room 133. Enter through Middle School main door.
Defensive Driving/Point Reduction - AARP sponsored, any age driver can participate (fall and winter/spring). Spring date to be announced.
Is your license near suspension? Take this class and you may be eligible for a point reduction on your license. Eligible also for discount on vehicle and motorcylce insurance.
SAT Prep Class (winter/spring). Four sessions in March 2018.
$90 per student includes SAT Review Book

Indoor Walking (fall and winter/spring)
The middle school is open to walkers Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. during regular school session. There is no walking during recess or holidays when school is not in session.
Call the Community Education office to register as a walker.
Men's Basketball (fall and winter/spring)
Monday and Friday nights in the elementary school gym. Start time 7:30 p.m.
